Chicago Life Opportunities Initiative (CLOI) is an innovative partnership between Mather LifeWays and CJE SeniorLife that creates opportunities that encourage older adults to remain productive, intellectually stimulated and actively engaged in their communities. CLOI also helps Chicago-area nonprofits expand their capacity to serve their communities by tapping the talents of older adults.

CLOI’s mission is to unite the wisdom and experience of older adults with Chicago-area organizations by addressing community-identified needs through paid and unpaid employment.

CLOI’s vision is to transform society’s view of aging to recognize the positive contributions and untapped talents of adults, age 50+.

CJE SeniorLife is an innovative provider of community-based programs, residential options and health care services for older adults and their families throughout the Chicago area. Since 1972, CJE’s wide range of programs and services has grown to include home delivered meals, counseling and care management, transportation, personal care, home health, independent housing, adult day services, assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, long-term skilled nursing and Alzheimer’s care. In addition, CJE provides health care screenings, wellness programming and lifelong learning opportunities.

CJE is a partner in serving the community, supported by the Jewish United Fund/Jewish Federation. For more information about CJE services, call 773/508-1000 or visit www.cje.net
